Microsoft Office Classes for Rice University
In partnership with Rice University, CompuTrain is the preferred outside vendor option for all Rice University employees for Microsoft Office training classes.
CompuTrain is a Microsoft Learning Partner. Classes are taught by Microsoft-certified instructors and all training classes are In-Person (i.e. face-to-face, not virtual/not remote), instructor-led and hands on.
Public Class Schedule
All public classes are held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the CompuTrain Training Center. With convenient, easy in-and-out access, we are located just South of the Galleria at the intersection of 610 & Bellaire Blvd. in the BB&T Bank building:

Important Information for Rice University Employees
MANAGER APPROVAL: Please obtain Manager approval (required) prior to registration. Please also note these classes are to be funded by the employee's department. They are not funded through HR.
CLASS DISCOUNT: All Rice University employees receive a discount of $25.00 on the prices listed below. This discount is available only to Rice University employees and is automatically applied during the registration process. Please be sure to use your Rice University email address when enrolling in class. To enroll, simply click on the course date below to proceed to the registration portal.
Pricing & Payment
Class pricing (before discount) is provided next to the class dates on the Public Class schedules. Visa, MasterCard and American Express are all accepted forms of payment.
Cancellation Policy
All classes must be cancelled by the student no later than 7 days prior to the date of the class. Classes not cancelled in time will be charged in-full but the student may re-take the class at no-charge the next time it is offered.
